Russ Neuman- Service Writer, Part
At Scanwest since 2015
Besides the basics of oil changes and such, the first big repair was an engine swap at Shogun Style Performance in California on a 1993 Nissan 240SX.
I can’t believe what I’m seeing story:
Back in California a shop where Russ started his career, a customer brought their Mercedes SL500 in for an oil change. Russ got the car on the lift and started performing the safety check. To his surprise he found pieces of wood 2X4s shoved in between the spring coils front and back of the car. To find out the customer put them in to keep the car from bottoming out because the struts and shocks were blown out.
